delighted to be able to stay in touch with so many people around the U.S. and the world. Spring is making a very
early appearance here in the Vail Valley but I don't hear anyone complaining! The weather has been gorgeous and the
Vail valley is alive with color. A little piece of advice to the "new" settlers in the valley...don't
plant your annuals until after the first full moon in June! I know...that sounds late. But you gotta trust
me...we've all made that fatal mistake at least once only to wake up one morning and see your newly planted garden wiped
out by a nasty, spring blizzard!
I'm getting ready for the Sacramento Music Festival which takes place over the Memorial Day Weekend May 25-28.
Really looking forward to performing with Ron Jones on drums and Tom Hannickel on bass. I'll be doing the honors on
piano and vocals. We also have special guest stars, Bob Draga on clarinet and Russ Phillips, on Trombone sitting-in
